Freedom isn’t just a word. Freedom is a way of life mentally, spiritually, emotionally, psychologically and sensually. One can be physically hampered and still be free, you see. Some claim to be free but lie concurrently. Hiding behind masks, living foolishly to those who can see, riddled with shame, existing in confined secrecy. I, myself have no understanding of such self sabotaging treachery. I would rather partake in lifelong debauchery and be judged than to act as if I am something I wasn’t made to be. Frivolous lips call it sin, while simply “Eye Am” being Me.

It’s been difficult to maintain a consistent level of concentration today. The connection we feel with a kindred soul is one that is hard to explain to the leman man’s mind. When I look into your eyes I feel the love flowing through from you to the depths of my heart. You paved the way for us. You gave us a voice. You showed us how to be brave enough to speak the thoughts so dear to our hearts. If I just had the chance to grace your face with my hand. To kiss you gently on the forehead with love, respect and honor. You graced us with your inner beauty, you trusted us with your story, a being supreme, the phenomenal woman Queen Maya Angelou. My love and admiration for you and for what you’ve done for us will never part from the words I will continue to speak until I cease to breathe.

In the past three hundred and sixty one days I’ve learned that…

The Unhealed will hurt me only if I allow them to

Lies will run to avoid the Truth

My energy is captivating but that doesn’t mean they are ready to receive me

The Universe does exactly what I ask it to do; it protects me even when my ego doesn’t want it to

My intuition is the best companion for this journey

The feeling I get in my chest when deception is near isn’t an indication that I’m not healed, instead it’s a gift. It forewarns me that my heart’s best isn’t their interest

People are scared to feel

There’s nothing wrong with the silence, it’s how I deal

This isn’t my 1^st lifetime and I’ve learned the most in this one

The small star in my dreams is my son

My soul’s mission is bigger than the human things I desire in my life

Validation doesn’t come from being a man’s wife

Smiling is not a form of true happiness

Words without action are worthless

People will voluntarily reveal their weaknesses

In order to really understand others, it’s best to remain quiet
